Mrs. A
(Veronika Atkins)

Hello everyone!

Hi, I’m Mrs A, a music teacher at Primary Schools in Australia, who believes learning music should feel joyful, not stressful!

I created Smiley Note to help young learners understand music theory in a fun, colourful, and easy way.

Instead of pressure or exams, I teach through stories, songs, and play – because music should make children smile, move, and imagine.
Every Smiley Note lesson and printable is designed to spark curiosity and confidence. Kids learn real musical skills without even realising how much they’re learning!

My mission is simple:
👉 Make music learning fun, friendly, and accessible for every child, parent, and teacher.

Smiley Note began in my own classroom, where I wanted students to truly understand what notes, rhythms, and rests mean – not just memorise them.
Now it’s grown into a world of games, characters, worksheets, and stories that help children everywhere fall in love with music.

Smiley Note gives you easy step-by-step activities, tutorials, and printable sheets so you and your child can learn together at home.
